I was born in Waterbury, Connecticut in 1945. After graduating from Paier College of Art, in New Haven, Connecticut in 1966, I moved to New York City where I have lived ever since. Here I pursued my interest in design and photography at Parsons, The New School and the International Center for Photography.

My work as a photographer has been influenced by my background in architectural drawing and design. Accordingly, most of the subjects in these portfolios have been cropped away from their context and reduced to graphic images.

My photographs have been exhibited at the Michael Ingbar Gallery and SohoPhoto Gallery, both in New York, as well as the Silvermine Gallery in Connecticut. My work is in the permanent collection of The New-York Historical Society and in private collections in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
