I was born in Waterbury, Connecticut in 1945. After graduating from Paier College of Art, in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1966, I moved to New York City, where I have lived ever since. Here I pursued my interest in design and photography at Parsons, The New School and the International Center for Photography.
My work as a photographer has been influenced by my background in architectural drawing and design. Accordingly, most of the images in the three series included here have been cropped and reduced to graphic compositions.
My photographs have been exhibited at the Michael Ingbar Gallery and Soho Photo Gallery, both in New York, as well as the Silvermine Gallery in Connecticut. My work is in the permanent collection of the New York Historical Society, Avery Architectural and Fine Arts Library at Columbia University and in private collections in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
